My name is Rayane Bachammar. I teach German online and give workshops on cross cultural communication.
I grew up in a bicultural family in Algeria and Germany. Today, I live in Berlin again.
I have an Algerian father and a German mother and am well aware of the German side of things.
I can also relate to you, dear German learners, because I know the struggles of a foreigner.
I speak 5 languages and I know how challenging it can be sometimes to learn and practice a language.
I love to support German language learners in their goals and I am happy about every single German learner.
I studied Spanish and French philology and sociology at the University of Bonn and at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
Afterwards, I completed my distance education, studying German as a foreign language at the Goethe Institute and at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
I also hold a BAMF certificate and an intercultural trainer certificate from the German society of intercultural training quality.
During my studies, I started to teach foreign languages and to give remedial lessons.
After graduating, I worked for several years in various companies, such as Dow Jones and Clínica EUGIN.
Thus, I was able to experience firsthand how to communicate in global and medium-sized companies.
Additionally, I have always given language lessons.
Since September 2014, I have been teaching full-time as a teacher and have taught in companies, mainly banks, in Barcelona.
Today, my lessons are conducted exclusively online.
I have a teacher profile at Italki.
I also have a blog about transculturality. Have a look at Transkulti!
